As a reflective practice I wanted to put together all my favourite snippets of phone recordings over the years. The thing I wanted to capture most were the bits of collaborative improvisational magic. Among the tracks some are totally improvised excerpts, some were conjured with only a single source of inspiration to improvise off of (a poetry book excerpt, a pre-written guitar idea), and some were pre-made pieces that had some type of spark. That lightning in a bottle feeling!

Although I wish they could be properly recorded, I love these recordings for their incidental qualities. I'm putting them in one place and hope that others can hear the energy they contain despite the lo-fi.
